Since he started drawing, Pierluigi Cretella realized how his mind translates reality simplifying, organising and balancing it.
That’s how he sees the tattoos and that’s why the languages of backwork, dotwork and ornamental in general adapt and integrate with his vision.
His inspiration comes from the Asian iconography, from where he brings some ideas that afterwards he integrates with others from the tribal cultures, from where the heavy blackwork that characterises him comes out.
His form of tribalism is a modernised interpretation of all this, where geometric patterns and clean structures are incorporated to adapt to the anatomy of each person.
